The Greensborough Football Club is deeply saddened by the passing of Life Member Graham Brady, who passed away peacefully on 18 September 2026, aged 87.
Beginning as a young man, Graham provided outstanding off-field service to our Club throughout the 1960s and into the mid-1970s.
From 1961 to 1974, Graham served the Club as a Committee Member and held several important administrative positions, including:
- Assistant Secretary – 1961, 1962, 1963, 1965, 1966 and 1967
- Secretary – 1970 and 1971
- Treasurer – 1972, 1973 and 1974
Graham’s years of service included;
- the 1961, 1966 and 1967 premiership seasons
- the 1965 runner-up season
- several finals campaigns.
In recognition of his exceptional contribution, Graham was deservedly awarded Life Membership at the Club’s 1970 Annual General Meeting.
Graham was a quiet and highly respected administrator who made a vital contribution to the Greensborough Football Club over many years. Much of his work was completed behind the scenes, with little fanfare and in his own time.
Our Club exists today because of the dedication and selfless service of people like Graham Brady.
The Greensborough Football Club extends its deepest condolences to Graham’s family, friends and all those who had the privilege of knowing him.
